Why Taos Host Co. exists

Taos is not a generic short-term rental market. It is a place where the land has been cared for by Pueblo peoples for centuries, where adobe structures require a specific kind of attention, and where the highest-value guests arrive specifically because of cultural and ecological authenticity.

We started Taos Host Co. because no local operator was addressing that reality. National platforms offer eco-narratives. Local operators offer operational competence. Nobody was connecting the two at the level of the actual property.

What we believe

Sustainability earns your listing better reviews and higher rates. It is not a cost. It is a revenue argument. When your home smells of biodegradable cleaning, when your guests receive a box sourced from Indigenous artisans, when they leave with a guide that treats the land with respect, they review differently. They return. They tell people.

We handle the full management cycle with that principle embedded at every step: vendor coordination, guest communication, turnover quality, and the ongoing stewardship of your property as if it were our own.

Our operating base

We are based in Taos, New Mexico. Our vendor network is local. Our cleaning partners use 100% biodegradable products. Our artisan relationships are direct. There is no national template being applied here. Every property we manage is specific to Taos, and to you.
